Reversed Wiring

Prevention

To prevent the GFCI protection being disabled by reversed wiring, there will be no power at the GFCI outlet and downstream if the LINE / LOAD is miswired. (in this case the green LED light won’t be OFF) 

- Repeatedly trips when RESET is attempted
- Does not permit power to the load with an audible "clicking" sound
- Denial of power to the load (trip with the inability to RESET).

Self-Test Function

Automatically conducts a self-test every 5 seconds, ensuring it is always ready to provide protection.
